The Datang Weihe Thermal Power Plant is located in Zongyang Town, Qinhann New City, Xi’an, Shaanxi Province. During the process of stacking and unloading operations in its coal yard, significant dust pollution occurs during windy weather, causing pollution to the surrounding environment and substantial material losses. According to local environmental protection requirements, it was necessary to implement full enclosure measures for the coal yard. Our company conducted a full enclosure transformation of the coal yard while ensuring that the site, including coal piles, bucket wheel reclaimers, and coal conveyor bridges, did not affect the owner’s production. The fully enclosed coal shed measures 150 meters in length, 90 meters in width, and 29.139 meters in height, featuring a double-layered curved truss design with minimal steel usage and an aesthetically pleasing appearance. It was put into use at the end of 2018. The completion of this project achieved zero coal dust emissions, eliminated the pollution caused by coal dust to the surrounding environment, and became a beautiful landmark of the Weihe Power Plant.
